I enjoy people buying my books. Having readers like my stuff enough to actually beat up their credit cards to read it is truly rewarding. In a more practical sense, it allows me to take time off writing software, and write more books.

Writing books is a lot more fun than writing software.

I probably need not mention that my publisher also enjoys having people buy my books. It justifies their publishing more of them, and prevents them from having to publish titles like “Make a Million Dollars by Getting People to Send you $39.95 for a Book” to keep the doors open.

In the new millennium, however, when text is a verb and a minute is just this side of eternity, I’ve come to appreciate that not everyone wants to deal with paper – at least, not right away. To this end, some of my books are available to download.

No-cost downloads: The downloadable books are complete, and there is no up-front cost to download them. You can read them from your monitor, and if you wish to, you can print them out.

Printing downloaded books: The downloadable books can be printed to hard copy. This having been said, printing out a downloaded book will cost you about $25.00 in paper and toner, and the result will be an unwieldy stack of pages. You can buy real printed, bound copies of these books for a lot less – just visit our e-commerce page or call the order desk at 1-800-263-1138.

Before you click on anything, I should point out that in downloading these files, you will be agreeing to the copyright terms posted at this page. While I recommend that you read these in their entirety, the very short form says:
